Description:   Flat medallion with scraped groove. Shallow hemispherical profile. Outturned rim with scraped groove.
Decoration:   Mold made idyllic scene. On the medallion, four pointed rosette; on the calyx, eight large fronds alternated with lotus petals; on the wall, alternating rosettes, hounds, and birds; on the rim, birds between raised bands followed by a thin raised band. Brownish red glaze preserves throughout.
Material:   Fine light reddish brown clay with voids and rare medium white and black inclusions.
Munsell Color:   5 YR 6/4 (Light reddish brown)
Condition:   Complete profile. 21 frgts mended preserve half of medallion, half of calyx, one third of wall, and one quarter of rim.
