Description:   Cyma kantharos with stem foot, flat resting surface and conical undersurface, with molded exterior in two degrees; high lower with straight sloping side ending in a high beveled edge, articulated from upper pointed ridge by an angle. Concave stem connected to foot by curve. Wide body with very large, convex lower and concave upper high in body near top, flaring out to an everted tapered lip. A vertical strap handle with rectangular thumb rest attaching to just below lip and upper body.
Decoration:   West Slope style with two horizontal groove bands at level between the two handle attachments. Inscribed decoration of the string of the necklace motif and a ribbon hanging from its end preserved. Black glaze all over.
Material:   Fine very pale brown clay with rare fine to medium spherical subrounded mudstone, rare fine black inclusions. rare fine voids.
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/4 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Complete profile. Numerous joining frgts., preserving foot except one chip, stem, 3/4 body, 2/3 lip, one handle. Black glaze preserved in parts.
