Description:   Plate with low vertical ring foot, flat resting and undersurface. Shallow body with flaring convex profile.
Decoration:   White slip over all. Scratched on interior: head of sheep to rt.; large oval eye with double outline, oblique fringe on forehead, rows of stipples over rest of head. In field, ring of pointed oval leaves with incised central rib and veins. Pale yellow glaze in.
Material:   Fine light red-brown clay with moderate amount of voids, scattered white, red inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Slightly redder than 5YR 5/6
Condition:   2 Two joining frgts., 1/4 foot, floor, lower half body. Add. join gives diameter of foot.
