Description:   Pitcher with flat bottom, ovoid body, curving into wide neck with ridge at mid height, outward thickened squared rim. Neck and rim pinched for missing spout. Vertical strap handle attached to max. diam. and mid-point of neck.
Decoration:   On exterior of shoulder, row of spirals enclosed in a circle in matt red-brown paint, 4 in all; a 5th beneath handle. Horizontal strokes on handle, wavy line above. Stripe on lip.
Material:   Coarse clay with numerous black and white inclusions, some voids. Light brown tending to pink at core.
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 7/4 to between 7.5YR 8/4 and 10YR 8/4
Condition:   Complete profile. Complete profile, intact except for half neck, rim.
