Description:   Disc foot in two degrees. Underside slopes up to central depression with nipple. Top of foot slopes up to low stem which flares out to near-cylindrical body with maximum diameter just below should articulation. Shoulder rises with slightly concave curve to base of inset neck. Handle attachment preserved on shoulder.
Decoration:   Bottom of foot and narrow strip at bottom edge of lower member reserved; edge of lower member glazed; edge of upper member of foot reserved. Top of foot and all of body to shoulder glazed. Over the glaze, red stripes, one carelessly around stem, one near bottom of cylindrical section of body, two close together around top of body. Shoulder reserved and decorated with tongues, outer circle large, taper to point at edge of shoulder, alternate with faded white lines; inner circle, at base of neck, of short strokes. Foot damaged before glazing.
Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay.
Munsell Color:   5YR 6/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. Foot and shoulder preserved in one piece; handle, neck, and mouth missing. Some spalling on surface.
