Description:   Bell krater with hollow ring foot in two degrees. Lower degree, flat-bottom, convex profile 0.015 high, upper degree, concave 0.013 high. surmounted by fillet 0.007 high. Bell-shaped body. Flaring rim with tapered outturned lip. (Similar to the work of Group G, cf. Agora XXX, cat. 515, ca. 350-325 B.C.; Hesp XXI, p. 122, 330-320 B.C.)
Decoration:   Laurel leaves to left on rim, wave pattern to right on upper lip. Short-leaved palmettes under handle, with top of C 2003 054C palmette starting to turn out for handle attachment. Volutes spring out under palmettes. Three figures beneath band of laurel leaves on lower rim, all wearing himations. Two figures at right face to left, between them possibly torch flame. Figure at left faces right, stands before diskos or tympanon decorated with an X and four dots.
Material:   Fine pinkish buff clay with rare 1 % medium micaceous inclusions

Condition:   Fragment. One rim fragment from krater found broken in many pieces numbered A-H, and J, nine fragments left in Lot-03-83.
