Description:   Echinus bowl with flaring ring foot, flat resting surface, nippled undersurface, upper half of foot steps in on exterior, echinoid body, tapered lip. Similar to C-53-247 (Corinth VII.iii p. 29, footnote 14), Agora XXIX, no. 994.
Decoration:   Black glaze over all interior and exterior.
Material:   Fine purplish red clay with rare small rounded spherical black and white inclusions and rare voids.
Munsell Color:   2.5YR 6/4
Condition:   Complete profile. Four joining fragments, complete foot except for small chips, 1/2 body, 1/4 rim. Glaze worn.
