Description:   Bolster krater with hemispherical body, flat rim triangular in section, rounded lip, bolster handle attached to wall below rim with raised ends and center that projects out and upward pierced vertically by a single hole for suspension. As C-47-451 (Corinth VII.iii no.188).
Decoration:   Black glaze over all interior and exterior, two wheel run lines incised through the glaze frame the handle zone, from lower one hangs incised garland with vertical ribbons.
Material:   Fine pale brown clay with rare medium to very large rounded spherical lime inclusions, rare small rounded spherical black inclusions and rare voids.
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/4
Condition:   Fragment. Thirteen joining frgts., small part of body, 1/6 rim, complete handle. Glaze worn off almost completely on interior and exterior, small amount of white paint preserved below handle.
