Description:   Oinochoe with broad, low, slightly flaring ring foot, broad flat undersurface and flat resting surface, squat ovoid body with max. diam. (H. 0.10) slightly above median, vertical, slightly concave neck rising to trefoil mouth with tapered lip, single vertical strap handle attached to shoulder and lip. As CP-1893 (Corinth VII.1, no. 71), Coldsream, GGP, 1968, pl. 3c, shape taller and more elongated than Coldsream, GGP, 1968, pl. 2d.
Decoration:   Resting surface and undersurface reserved, exterior black glazed except where patch fire flashed red (2.5YR 4/8 to 5/8) on lower body, three three-line bands, one below, one above and one at max. diam., rectilinear metopal panel on neck with five bands of zigzag decoration framed by three horizontal lines below and two horizontal lines above, handle has horizontal bars down back with a vertical stripe along either edge. Similar to CP-1893 (Corinth VII.1, no. 71), Coldsream, GGP, 1968, pl. 2d, 3c.
Material:   Medium hard, fine, reddish yellow fabric with conchoidal break, rare, small to very large, dark red, angular spherical to tabular mudstone inclusions, and rare sparkling inclusions.
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Complete or intact. Five fragments preserve complete vessel except for chips on breaks. Glaze slightly worn on body and upper handle.
