Description:   Perirrhanterion stand with square base with flat resting surface, vertical outer face, flat horizontal face from which rises footing for circular shaft. Similar to C-65-324 (Corinth XVIII.1, p.189, no.667, pl. 61).
Decoration:   Self-slipped on exterior. On vertical face, horizontal red stripe running around just below top of surface. On horizontal face, nine-petalled palmette reserved on black background with outer petals drooping downward and central petal extending to corner of base, s-curl tendrils running off at base of palmette, added red at heart.
Material:   Coarse pale yellow clay with frequent large dark brown, red, and white tabular inclusions.
Munsell Color:   5Y 8/3 (pale yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. Single fragment preserves one corner of the base of a perirrhanterion stand, slight traces of circular shaft. Painted decoration well preserved.
