Decoration: | Self-slipped on exterior. On vertical face, horizontal red stripe running around just below top of surface. On horizontal face, nine-petalled palmette reserved on black background with outer petals drooping downward and central petal extending to corner of base, s-curl tendrils running off at base of palmette, added red at heart. | |
Material: | Coarse pale yellow clay with frequent large dark brown, red, and white tabular inclusions. | |
