| Decoration: | Black glazed overall interior and exterior except for reserved undersurface of foot, reserved area between handle roots, reserved band around exterior and interior rim, with groups of black vertical lines at regular intervals on interior reserved rim band. | Findspot Description: | Vessel was found east of the sarcophagus of GR 2006-4 in the more shallow of the two pits. It was sitting inside the mouth of amphora C 2006 1. Five fragments of vessel were found in B 42, one in B 55, and the rest in B 43. | |
