Description:   Bowl with vertical ring foot, tapering resting surface, conical protuberance at center of undersurface, echinoid body with slight carination about four-fifths of height from bottom, slightly offset and inturned rim with tapered lip. Hayes, Sigillata Orientale, 1985, Form 20.
Decoration:   Foot and bottom half of body on exterior reserved, red slip on upper half dripping to foot in places ; red slip all over interior.
Material:   Fine pink clay with rare, medium to very large, rounded black and white inclusions and rare, medium, rounded sparkling inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Clay: 7.5YR 8/4 (pink), Slip: 10R 4/8 (red)
Condition:   Complete profile. Ten joining fragments preserve all of foot, one-fourth of body and small part of rim; slip slightly worn.
