Description:   Narrow-neck pitcher with false ring foot, tapered resting surface, raised undersurface, ovoid body with max. diam. above median of body, short neck concave in profile, horizontal rim, rounded lip; vertical strap handled attached to shoulder and rim. Both base and neck appear to have been made separately. Similar to C-74-140. See Corinth XVIII.2, p. 101.
Material:   Gritty yellowish red clay, fired to gray at core, with common small to v. large white lime, few large angular gray, rare medium rounded mudstone, rare fine sparkling inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Surface: 5YR 5/6 (yellowish red), Core: 5YR 5/1 (gray)
Condition:   Complete profile. Almost complete except for three holes on the body, two of which seem to be intentional because of lack of cracking; some cracking around neck and on body, one third of rim missing. Firing clouds on surface.
