Description:   Plastic head detached from vessel. Man wearing hat with thick brim; spherical head on wide cylindrical hollow neck; pierced disks of added clay for eyes set in circular depressions, added oblong strips of clay for lips; groove separates lips from nose; pierced nostrils; long flat projection for beard with rounded edge and deeply incised parallel lines denoting the hairs.
Material:   Coarse, very pale brown clay, fired reddish yellow at core, with frequent medium to very large spherical angular grog, tabular angular mudstone, spherical rounded white lime inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Surface: 10YR 8/3 (very pale brown), Core: 7.5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving male head broken at neck. Nose and part of brim of hat broken.
