Description:   Wide plate or shallow bowl with wide bottom, probably Form 3A-C based on decoration type. Thickened toward the center.
Decoration:   Red slip over all. Stamped palmette as 8e pointed inward to center of vessel, with slight edge of a second palmette(?) at left. Two wide grooves near center of base. Hayes decoration Group IIB.
Material:   Hard, light red clay, few white inclusions, exterior slip two shades darker than matrix
Munsell Color:   Core: 2.5YR 7/8 (light red), Slip: 2.5YR 5/8 (red)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., from base, no edges. Concentric wheel marks on exterior underside of vessel.
