Description:   Basin (?) cf. Hayes AfRS Form 59B. Broad, flat, outward thickened rim. Quite heavy. Echinoid walls.
Decoration:   Red slip over interior and exterior rim and upper body. Rim: three combed grooves on upper surface, nearer to interior of vessel. Exterior: Wide (0.07) horizontal grooved band below rim.
Material:   Hard, coarse pink clay. Common large to extra large (over 0.002) inclusions in black, red, brown, and white, with platey voids. Darker slip, adhering well on interior and rim of vessel, exterior burnished under rim
Munsell Color:   Core: 5YR 7/4 (pink), Slip: 2.5YR 5/6 (red)
Condition:   Fragment. 2 fragments, joining, both rims with upper part of body curving toward base. 15% circumference preserved. Wear on slip, especially around rim.
