Description:   Kotyle with false ring foot with flat resting surface and stepped undersurface, convex body to vertical tapered lip. Horizontal round strap handle attached just below lip. Profile and decoration similar to C-1962-619 (Amyx & Lawrence 1975, Corinth 7.2, no. An 118).
Decoration:   Groove around center of undersurface. Single black band from edge of foot to groove on undersurface; undersurface reserved with black circle in center. Three black bands on exterior from foot to figural zone. Main zone of three coursing silhouette-style hounds facing left. Single black bands border handle/rim zone filled by groups of five vertical black lines. Interior fully glazed. Silhouette hounds also similar to KP-1724 (Stillwell & Benson 1984, Corinth 15.3, cat. 1249).
Material:   Fine very pale brown clay with rare small subroundedd spherical white inclusions and rare small voids
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/3
Condition:   Complete profile. Eight joining frgts., preserving all of base, half of body and lip, and two handle stubs.
Period:   Early Corinthian (620/615-595/590)
