Description:   Stewpot with round bottom, ovoid body with max. diam. below midpoint, rounded flange at transition between body and rim, flaring rim with inward beveled lip. One strap handle attached at top of rim and shoulder. Similar to C-1947-426 (Edwards 1975, Corinth 7.3, cat. 653) and C-1946-38 ((Edwards 1975, Corinth 7.3, cat. 654).
Material:   Medium coarse brown clay with few small-medium subrounded tabular and angular tabular white and light gray inclusions, rare small angular tabular orange inclusions and rare small voids.
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 4/2 (brown)
Condition:   Complete profile. Many joining frgts., preserving all of base, most of body, and all of rim.
