Description:   Two-handled skyphos with a tall conical foot with a rounded resting surface and concave undersurface, hemispherical body to a flaring tapered lip. Horizontal round loop handles attached at midbody. Shape similar to C-1938-552 (Corinth VII.1, p. 4, no. 3, fig. 3, pl. 1; Pfaff 1999, p. 88, fig. 18:b). See also Lemos 2002, pp. 33-34 (Early Protogeometric monochrome skyphoi).
Decoration:   Ridging marks visible on exterior of foot. Foot and lowest part of body reserved, rest of body covered with black paint. Interior black painted except for wide reserved band on inside of lip. Small reserved areas between both handle attachments. Decoration similar to C-1938-552 (Corinth VII.1, p. 4, no. 3, fig. 3, pl. 1; Pfaff 1999, p. 88, fig. 18:b)
Material:   Fine pink clay with rare, small, platy, subrounded white inclusions, rare, small spherical, rounded black inclusions, and few small voids.
Munsell Color:   Fabric:7.5 YR 8/4 (pink); Paint: 7.5 YR 4/1 (dark gray)
Condition:   Missing parts. Four joining frgts., preserving foot and body, one handle, and most of rim.
