Description:   Lekythos with ring foot with a flat resting surface and concave undersurface, globular body to tapered shoulder with a cylindrical neck to flaring rounded rim, and one round vertical strap handle attached at neck and shoulder. Shape similar to Lemos 2002, p. 72, pls. 2.6, 6.4, 6.5, 13.12; Ruppenstein 2009, pp. 332, 339, 340, figs. 1:3, 2:1-4.
Decoration:   Undersurface and resting surface of the foot are reserved. Very dark gray paint on exterior from foot to mid-body. Two band below shoulder zone of large black painted antithetical hatched triangles. Five black bands on neck. Two black bands on interior of lip. Handle is fully painted with reserved undersurface. Decoration similar to Lemos 2002, p. 72, pls. 13.12, 19.3, 20.2-4.
Material:   Fine pink clay with rare fine spherical subrounded gray inclusions and few small voids.
Munsell Color:   Fabric: 7.5 YR 8/4 (pink); Paint: 2.5 Y 3/1 (very dark gray)
Condition:   Complete profile. Many joining frgts., preserving foot, most of body, all of neck, almost all of rim, and handle.
