Description:   Deep Bowl. Small low ring base. Convex body straightens to slightly outturned flaring rim. Two round horizontal handles attached 1/3 of way down body. FS 284.
Decoration:   Exterior is polished buff with six painted horizontal bands: one at base, one pair between base and mid-body, one pair at mid-body, thick band at rim. Handle has three splashes: one at mid-point and two at attachment points. Interior is painted monochrome red.
Material:   Fine medium hard buff clay
Munsell Color:   Surface 8.5 YR 7.5/4 (pink/very pale brown), Core 7.5 YR 7/4 (pink), Paint 2.5 YR 4/8 (red)
Condition:   Complete profile. 18 joining fragments preserve all of foot, 1/2 body, 40% of rim, one handle
