Description:   Feeding bottle (FS 162). Small shallow ring base, globular body, tall slender neck with small upturned rim; neck is placed asymmetrically on body. Large strap basket handle, both ends attached to rim. Spout is pierced tapering cylinder above maximum diameter of vessel.
Decoration:   Exterior slipped and polished, with one painted band at base, one above base, three bands at mid-body, one band at shoulder, upper shoulder and neck painted solid. Handle has 7 broad painted bars. Traces of paint on spout.
Material:   Medium soft pink buff fine clay
Munsell Color:   Surface: 2.5 Y 8/2 (white), Core: 6.25 YR 8/4 (pink) to 2.5 Y 8/2 (white), Paint: 7.5 YR 6/8 (reddish yellow) to black
Condition:   Complete profile. 18 joining fragments preserve all of foot, 90% of body, 3/4 of rim, 1/2 of spout, handle complete
