Description:   Basin (FS 294). Flat concave base (almost a ring base), convex body to squared rim, outward thickened and slightly inward thickened. Two horizontal round handles attached at rim.
Decoration:   Exterior slipped and polished with 1 painted band on base, 1 at mid-body, 1 just below rim which covers the back of the handles. Interior decoration obscured by plaster.
Material:   Semi-coarse very gritty clay
Munsell Color:   Surface: 2.5 Y 8/4 (pale yellow), Paint: 7.5 YR 5/8 (red)
Condition:   Complete profile. 15 joining fragments preserve 1/3 of foot, 2/3 of body and rim, both handles preserved
