Description:   Hydria. Flat slightly concave base. Globular body, tall slightly flaring neck, thick outturned rim slightly downturned. One horizontal round handle attached at midpoint of body. One vertical strap handle from rim to shoulder. FS 128
Decoration:   Exterior slipped and painted with bands. One pair of bands below handle, one pair of bands above handle, one band around neck, one band on inside and outside of rim. Horizontal handle has a large bar on top with three splashes on either side. Vertical handle has a vertical wavy band on top.
Material:   medium coarse, very gritty pink buff clay with black inclusions
Munsell Color:   Surface 2.5 Y 8/3 (white/pale yellow), Core 2.5 YR 6/6-7 (light red), Paint 2.5 YR 4/8 (red) to black
Condition:   Complete profile. 23 joining fragments preserve 1/2 of base, 2/3 of body, all of neck and rim, 1 handle (1 handle missing)
