Description:   Askos. Flattened oval base. Globular body resembles that of a bird, rounded and coming ot a point at the tail, where the head should be there is a round open spout. Strap basket handle attached at back of spout and center of body. FS 194
Decoration:   Exterior slipped and painted. Band around base. Body has crocuses or Palm I (FM 14 #12) motif. Under tail and spout is a simple grass pattern (FM 16) composed of single stalk with three leaves. Rim of spout has a band around it. Tail has two short strokes curving around it. Handle has a candy stripe pattern.
