Description:   Hollow pedestal foot rising from wide, flat base to fairly narrow neck where it joins body approx. 0.015 above base. Lower body flares steeply out to approx. 0.035 above base where it meets sharply inset upper body walls. Upper body rises straight, flaring slightly out to a plain, vertical rim. Two high swung strap handles rise from division between upper and lower body to rim. Cf. bucchero kantharoi from Temple E Well 1: C 1932 129 and C 1932 130. Decoration:   Diagonal gouges to right along carination between upper and lower body wall on exterior. Three incised parallel, horizontal bands around rim on exterior. Interior and exterior burnished.
Material:   Gray-black clay with mica.
Condition:   Complete or intact. Nearly intact. One handle missing from rim to stump and two pieces of rim missing. Mended completely, except chip on foot.
