Description:   Carinated cup. Ring base with carinated exterior profile. Carinated body to tall flaring outturned lip. One vertical strap handle from rim to carination. FS 240
Decoration:   Exterior polished and painted. Base and lower body to carination painted solid, spatters of paint along rim; handle painted on top. Interior is monochrome with a low round knob in center of base.
Material:   Fine clay with some medium grit
Munsell Color:   Surface: 5 YR 7/6 (reddish yellow) Core: 2/5 YR 5.5/8 (red/light red) Paint: 10 R 5/7 (red)
Condition:   Complete or intact. 17 joining fragments preserve complete vessel except for 5% of rim and body
