Description:   Shallow Bowl. Ring base, semi-globular body rises to small outturned slightly squared rim. Two horizontal strap handles attached below rim. FS 296
Decoration:   Exterior painted with one band at base, one at max. diameter, one at level of handles and over the backs of the handles. Interior has a large blob-centered spiral at center, one band at mid-body and rim is painted.
Material:   Fine clay with some grit
Munsell Color:   Surface: 5 YR 6.5/6 (reddish yellow) to 7.5 YR 7.5/6 (reddish yellow) Core: 2.5 YR 6/8 (light red) to 5 YR 7/7 (reddish yellow) Paint: 10 R 5/8 (red) to 2.5 YR 5/8 (red)
Condition:   Complete profile. 10 joining fragments preserve all of base, 2/3 of body, 1/2 of rim, 1 handle
