Description:   Shallow bowl. Ring base, convex body to outward flaring vertical rim. Two horizontal strap handles attached at rim. FS 296
Decoration:   Exterior is painted. One band at base, two bands at mid-body below handles. Interior slipped and painted. Rounded knob at center of base decorated with a hollow-centered spiral. One band at lower body, two bands at mid-body.
Material:   Fine clay
Munsell Color:   Surface 8.75 YR 7/5 (reddish yellow/very pale brown), Core 7.5 YR 7/5 (pink/reddish yellow), Paint 2.5 YR 5/6 (red) to black
Condition:   Complete profile. 12 joining fragments preserve all of foot, 3/4 of body, 2/3 of rim, attachment for one handle
