Description:   Plain goblet (FS 254). Flat foot, slightly hollowed with deep depression in center. Short stem to convex body, small outturned rim. One or two vertical strap handles.
Decoration:   Exterior covered with buff slip, interior painted monochrome. As MDP fig. 55 no. 1.
Material:   Fine hard pink clay
Munsell Color:   Surface 10 YR 8/4 (very pale brown), Core 5 YR 7/6 (reddish yellow), Paint 10 R 4/6 (red) to black
Condition:   Complete profile. 6 joining fragments preserve all of base, 1/2 of body, 1/3 of rim
