Description:   Bowl or large cup with wide-flaring body with slight convex profile, sharply articulated high rim H00.068 with concave profile flaring to fine lip; at least one vertical strap handle attached to base of rim.
Decoration:   Matt-painted decoration in black: exterior: body, possible zigzag pattern, one angle of which preserved, with triple parallel lines, point to rim; rim: pair of double vertical lines on either side of handle; for rest, band of X-pattern, made of row of upright triangles along bottom half of rim, with second row of pendant triangles from rim, points of each row touching; each triangle made of triple parallel lines, and open on one broad side; between them small pendant hatched triangle of which 1 partly preserved. Horizontal line at base of handle. Interior: 2 sets of triple lines pendant from lip on upper half of rim, placed opposite each other.
Material:   Fine greenish clay with rare tiny black inclusions, some voids.
Munsell Color:   Near 2.5Y 7.5/2
Condition:   Fragment. Four joining frgts., ca. 1/5 body from above foot, ca. half rim, tiny part of lip; lower attachment for one handle.
