Description:   Large bowl or wide-mouth pitcher with flat bottom, ovoid body with max. diam. at H00.08, inset concave rim H00.022 with everted tapered lip. Vertical strap handle with deep groove down back attached to max. diam. and lip.
Decoration:   Exterior incised: entire body covered with horizontal rows of zigzag reaching to shoulder; to either side of handle 3 vertical lines that join with 3 horizontal grooves at base of rim; below handle row of boxed "V" with points up, extending from bottom onto lower part of handle; area between handle roots plain; rim plain.
Material:   Coarse dark brown clay with frequent fine black inclusions. Fired to lighter brown on shoulder-rim.
Munsell Color:   Roughly between 7.5YR 4/2 and 5YR 4/2
Condition:   Complete profile. Ca. 11 joining frgts., complete profile: 3/4 bottom; ca. half lower half body, less than half shoulder, ca. 1/8 rim; lower half handle Fully RIP.
