Description:   Lekythos with disk foot with small torus moulding at bottom, flat resting surface with small concave nipple. Body widens from narrow stem, nearly cylindrical to max. diam. at shoulder, low sloping shoulder turning into tall narrow neck, outward thickened rim with straight flaring profile, broad flat lip rising to moulth. Vertical strap handle from shoulder to neck.
Decoration:   Resting surface, outer face of foot reserved, torus and top of foot black. Lower third of body glazed, above which reserved, with figured zone offset by glazed line, band, line: subject: prob. person mounting chariot, attended. Preserved: heads and hindquarters of 4 horses, upper part of figure beside horses near tails, upper body of second near heads, facing them. 3 rows dicing above. Long, short rays on shoulder, rim, interior mouth glazed, lip reserved, back of handle glazed.
