Description:   Corinthian pan and cover joined into combination rooftile, preserving whole antefix face and part of pan guilloche. All decoration in brown paint. Antefix does not rise above top surface of cover tile, decorated in low relief with palmette tendrils rising from ground line, spreading down and curling upward at ends with 2 complete turns. Calyx heart of palmette with 3 smaller leaves above seperates the antethetic tendrils. Antefix field framed in thin plastic line.
Decoration:   Guilloche decoration of pan section starts at center line of antefix goin to proper left; decoration starting at center of eye of guilloche. Fragment preserves3 other guilloche eyes. Guilloche executed with compass.
Material:   Corinthian cream clay with buff core, mudstone grog; fine cream-green slip, dark brown paint.
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining fragments, broken away on one side, back.
