Description:   Buff Corinthian clay with inclusions, buff slip. Black galze, red paint. Low, pentagonal antefix for Corinthian cover tile. Face decorated in low relief with two volutes, spreading out from center, to lower corners, spiraling up and inward. At apex of antefix, a small 3-petalled palmette over a rounded heart. Raised border around edge painted black. Volutes black; palmete: outer two petals red, central one broken away, heart black.

Material:   Clay: numerous fine to coarse (to 4 mm.) black, red inclusions; thin slip on top, sides, front-all relief work on face done in fine clay.
Munsell Color:   Between 10YR 8/3 and 2.5Y 8/3
Condition:   Fragment. Single fragment broken at back, right lower corner chipped. Surface worn.
