Description: | Small "skyphos" (identified in new publications as kotyle) with rather broad convex body. 2 round horizontal loop handle attached below rim. Projecting false ring foot, on undersurface flat molded ring with a concave protrusion at center. | |
Decoration: | Conventionalizing style. Black, brown, and purple paint. Below rim brown zigzag pattern with dots in lower gaps between two purple lines. Body composed of black bands alternating with 3-4 black and brown lines. Exception is band of black dots. Black on center of handles. Foot exterior black and purple lines, interior series of alternating black dots and purple lines. Interior of cup solid black betlow purple rim. Stelae Shrine A Workshop (Risser 2001). | |
