Description:   Closed form echinoid vessel, presumably pyxis.
Decoration:   Dull brownish black and brownish red paint. Red band at top, black band, two black lines, red line, frieze of large palmettes and lotoses.
Attributes:   Palmettes.
Material:   Fine very pale brown clay, with rare angular white inclusions.
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/4 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Fragment. 2 frgts., preserving part of the profile; slip is worn but legible.
