Description:   Lamp with echinoid body, broad flat rim, shallow concave disk, framed by ring, solid lug handle top and bottom of which misfitted.
Decoration:   Rim: herringbone; disk: quadruped running lt. with long nose, antlers, hooves and short iincisions all over head and body for fur. Dark brown to slightly reddish brown slip over all.
Material:   Hard-fired brown clay with rare fine white inclusions, voids.
Munsell Color:   Clay: 7.5YR 5/4 Slip: near 5YR 3/2
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., top quarter of lamp with handle, upper 2/3 body profile, ca. 1/4 rim, ca. half disk. Subsequently broken and mended.
