Description:   Lamp Broneer Type XVI, profile 52, with flat base. Lower body flares out and turns in halfway to top; vertical at rim; raised edge at rim around flat but buckled disk. Fill hole (Diam. 0.015). Heavy traces of burning on disk toward nozzle and on nozzle. Nozzle, askew, flaring; beveled flat below; thin strap handle. Similar to L-850 (Broneer 1930, Corinth 4.2, cat. 198), L-4366, L-1976-3, and L-1976-8.
Material:   Coarse red clay with frequent medium white spherical angular inclusions.

Condition:   Missing parts. Complete except for handle; handle preserved only ca. 0.015 above rim and attachment below at bevel.
