Description:   Lamp with circular reverse outlined by single groove. Rounded sides. Flat rim, concave circular disk. Pierced grooved vertical handle, extremes at edge of disk and almost to base. Disk: 5 airholes; filling hole forward.
Decoration:   Rim: beside handle, on each side, 2 impressed sets of concentric circles. Disk: bearded head, facing, wearing a pilos: Odysseus. Body: beside handle, on each side, a groove with impressed circle at bottom.
Writing:   inscribed. On reverse: signature AGAPION .
Attributes:   Odysseus
Material:   Pale brown clay with inclusions.
Condition:   Complete profile. Seven joining frgts., missing nozzle, part of base and disk, and upper part of handle.
Period:   4th c. A.C.
