Description:   Handmade terracotta figurine of a bird, perhaps a dove, with thick body, long neck, small head. Front legs short, tail rounded and flattened. Very crude work, according to Corinth 12. Narrow fingerprints preserved in places, including underside of tail, belly. Entire figurine painted in white paint or white slip.
Decoration:   White paint or white slip over all.
Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Complete or intact. Intact, with shallow chip on tail. White paint or white slip preserved over entire surface.
Period:   5th c. B.C.
Findspot Description:   Miscellaneous Finds, Corinth.
