Description:   Flat standing female figure in chiton and transverse himation; chest and shoulders smooth with low modeled breasts, left arm hangs at side, right arm bent at right angle and held against waist, hand curled with fingers angled upward and pierced at top, just below upper edge of diagonal himation; straight folds hanging below, two broader with squared-off edge at top and bottom, the left central swallowtail longer than the right; thin paryphe with deep grooves down sides. Red paint on chiton. Cf. MF-13628. Corinth XV.2, p. 89, class X, 5, KT-4-7, pl. 14 preserves angled folds on legs and shallow central groove on paryphe, missing on worn 10597. Significantly larger MF-2184, Corinth XII, pl. 6 no. 89. Aegina p. 382, no. 85, Inv. I, 265; base is same width. Tiryns I, pl. VIII, 1-3. Stillwell Type I B1.
Material:   Fine grayish buff fabric with few inclusions.

Condition:   Missing parts. Two joining fragments of figure from neck to lower legs. Blackened from burning.
