Description:   Terracotta solid mouldmade standing female with thin neck, narrow sloping shoulders, rt arm held tight to side, bent at elbow with forearm curving across breast holding a bird (thin beak pointed to lt, small head, wide short neck, round chest, long conical body). Wears peplos with low curving overfold with straight edge across thighs then drooping down to sides, long vertical folds fall from waist to overfold, triangular folds of rt sleeve drape from rt elbow to middle of forearm down to lower overfold, and long folds radiate from below overfold falling down flaring outward towards bottom stopping above hem with peplos pooling over top of feet. Mitten-like feet rest flat on thick projecting rectangular base. Frontal mould with large depression on back. Piece tilts to lt. Similar to and possible same mould as KT4-43 (Corinth XV.2 Class X p. 92-93 no. 24 pl. 15). Standing Kore with Dove and Fruit Type.

Condition:   Fragment. Two joining pieces preserving neck and shoulders to base with large triangular break on lt side. Missing all of lt forearm and hand, lt side of belly angled down to lt knee. White slip.
