Description:   Plate or wide bowl. (Precise stancing of vessel is impossible because no base or rim preserved.) Extremely wide (<0.03) outturned rim with raised ridge. Sharp carination with raised edge at juncture between rim and body. Sloping convex body.
Decoration:   Mosaic canes of central dot surrounded by a contrasting color, set in somewhat linear pattern about 30 degrees off the vertical plane of the plate. There also appear to be flecks (originally yellow?) in a circular pattern around most canes. Cane sections continue through the matrix, although are quite distorted esp. on exterior.
Material:   Opaque red glass matrix inset with yellow, green, blue colors visible at modern fracture lines.
Condition:   Fragment. 1 fragment. Body sherd with part of body and rim, but no preserved edge. Discolored to dark greys and milky whites
