Description: | Terracotta solid handmade group of four dancers moving in circle with arms joined around central figure (flutist). Each figure has cylindrical body flaring as attaches to base. Additional clay wrapped around feet to strengthen join. Flat circular base with pared and roughly smoothed edge. Fingerprints over bottom of base. Possible cloth impression on base. Similar to MF-10708 and KT2-7, 8, 9, 10 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 4-7 pl. 4). | |
