Description:   Fragment of a bronze object consisting of a thin shaft, circular in section, tapering toward the tip. Upper part of shaft slightly curved or bent. Function unknown. Identified on the original card as the tine of a fork, but Byzantine forks at Corinth have tines rhomboidal in section.

Condition:   Fragment. Single fragment preserves thin tapering shaft; object broken at tip and at top of shaft. Surface corroded toward tip.
