Description:   Bronze implement, most likely a Byzantine fork, consisting of two tines, square in section and tapering to sharp points, attached to a flat oval element with small projections at each corner. Lower part of handle preserved, consisting of a flat strip of metal. Cf. Parani, Bulletin of Christian Arch. Soc. 2010, pp. 157-8 for Byzantine bronze forks at Corinth (previously identified as probes).
Decoration:   Two incised horizontal lines on lower part of handle.
Material:   Bronze
Condition:   Missing parts. Single fragment preserves both tines, attachment point; handle or tang broken off. Tines slightly bent.
