Description:   Portrait of youth with long, casually combed locks, swirling around cheeks, neck and ears, and hanging low on forehead; worked with flat chisel. Large round eyes with drooping inner corners, eyeballs outlined with shallow incision. Slight rasping on right side of neck. No trace of drill. Polydeukion, favorite of Herodes Atticus.
Material:   White fine-crystalled marble.
Condition:   Head, broken off irregularly at neck; features broken and battered; surface much weathered, worn, and incrusted.
