Himation would have hung diagonally from left shoulder and falls to just above rt. ankle, slightly higher above left. Himation falls in thick rounded vertical folds down left side, radiate across front from left shoulder area, around rt. leg. Folds broad, divided by thick ridges over left leg and lower rt. Become narrow around upper rt. thigh and hip. Similar arrangement in back. The thinner chiton falls in vertical folds almost to plinth. Lightly incised line over the feet suggests press-fold. Feet sandled, strap between first and second toe visible on rt. foot. On plinth beside right foot is part of a large wheel, with trace of a spoke. Broken projection on side of rt. knee probably for upper part of wheel. Rasp marks on drapery, feet polished. Plinth marks in back near wheel. F.P. Johnson: Nemesis or Tyche
