Broad handle, thick down middle. Fairly fine red clay with fine particles of mica. MSBF comment: fabric cf. Chian, but not close. Small oval impression, from a gem(?) broken away at one side and damaged ... 7 March 1933 ... Hesperia 54 (1985), p. 19, no. 48.

Part of rim preserved. Coarse orange clay. Stamp is very wreath with “ΠΘ” in centre. V.G. notes that this handle and SS 14770 are parallel in deposit O 18:2 dated 350-320 B.C. Handles she would date ... 23 July 1971 ... Hesperia 54 (1985), p. 20, no. 48.
